Partner EuropeUpClose writes on Croatia’s charming Dubrovnik. This is the Dalmatian coast’s premier destination for excellent reasons, namely the dramatic location on the Adriatic coast and the beautifully preserved fortified town itself.

Dubrovnik Croatia, by Rafa http://www.micamara.es
Dubrovnik’s many charms include the old town itself, interesting seafood restaurants, chiled-out lifestyle and great night life. This UNESCO heritage site is good for walking through the winding cobbled streets and excellently preserved ramparts, offering fantastic photo opportunities above the old town’s rooftops and towards the azure sea beneath.
Dubrovnik is a big hit with both locals and visitors alike, which is always a healthy sign. All enjoy carefree times, eating ice creams and making the most of the pebbly/rocky seaside. An excellent place for this former Yugoslavia town to showcase some of the best of Dalmatia, Croatia. Nevertheless, I’d recommend visiting Croatia’s Zadar over Dubrovnik.
