While not forgetting the great parties for Europe travellers in most capital cities on Hogmanay (New Year’s night), the Eurocheapo blog brings us a list of some of the 2010 cultural events in Paris.

The cultural events include:
- Le Nuit des Musees (May 15), when entrance at museums is free until 1am,
- Fete de la musique (June 21), featuring musicians of all kind performing free throughout the city,
- Bastille Day (July 14), including a military parade down the Champs Elysées in the morning and fireworks over the Eiffel Tower in the evening.
