Partners Sharing Travel Experiences describe their exploring of the Robert Tatin museum. Within it you will find philosophical symbolism, mysticism and even the metaphysical!

The museum was a labour of love created post retirement, and mostly self-financed by Tatin selling some of his paintings in Paris! Most of the museum’s statues were made using cement, and time (about 35 years) has added unexpected detail in the form of living mosses – some people love while others hate these changes. It’s difficult to imagine what the originals looked like, as the colours have faded with time.
Visiting the museum one does feel close to Tatin, which is no illusion: the great man himself is still nearby, having been buried at the museum’s house front.
Well, if the 12% price cuts don’t get you visiting France soon, maybe the Tatin museum will!
