The artist has his own unique style, Superflat, commenting on consumerism, sexual fetishism and Otaku lifestyle (Genshiken). Murakami repackages low culture and auctions it in the “high-art” market. His methods of production and work are found in multiple store fronts from Louis Vuitton to toy stores and comic book stores. He has been influenced by Lichtenstein, Warhol and Oldenberg and has successfully marketed himself to both Japanese and Western culture.
When in Valencia, oceanografico, europe’s largest aquarium is a must-visit for the whole family.
There so much to see and do in Valencia, so make sure that you find the best hotel deals to make your holiday budget stretch further.
