Vengeful monks in Prague, Czech Republic

Thanks for coming back. We really appreciate you visiting Top Travel Content Europe. Need RSS?

The tale of a Czech Monks’ revenge comes from partner site Wandering Educators. It took very careful reading of the article to discover that the ‘Czech monks’ revenge’ is actually Klášter (Monastery) beer, a litre of which just happens to be even cheaper than a cappuccino in Prague! Knowing the ways of monks (as one surely does, especially when travelling in foreign lands) and the tipple’s price, I can now see where the revenge fits in!

Prague (The Dancing House), by ales°mo. Maybe something you’ll see after sampling the Monk’s revenge?

Now that this detail is clarified, I can reveal that the rest of the article is pretty harmless and indeed can be considered most interesting, as it gives ample and useful tourist info on Prague. This city is caught in a time warp making it one of the most beautiful in Europe, with Romanesque churches, a landmark castle and wonderful historic squares and quarters dating back to the Middle Ages. The old town square is ‘the must see’, as it comes complete with a 15th century astronomical clock containing 12 emerging apostles, and is best viewed on the hour (and that is every hour!)

I’ll let you read the rest of the wonderful detail in the original article.

We can also offer our own suggestions on Prague off the beaten track.
