Does Sardinia need a Gordon Ramsay restaurant?

Does Sardinia really need a Gordon Ramsay Restaurant? Well the five star Forte Village Resort near Cagliari in southern Sardinia thinks so. Is this the true flavour of international luxury travel?

Well I suppose it fits in with the fake village setting of the Forte Resort, not exactly an authentic slice of Sicilian life.

    I think normal people like me don’t need eveything five star, but the hint of it can spoil us – just like eating at one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants – although I admit that the site for his other restaurant, in the courtyard of that amazing castle – Castel Monastero at Monastero d’Ombrone looks even more exotic and appealing. Either way, they are BOTH two places I would consider checking out if I ever get the chance to go to Italy

    I’m not Gordon Ramsay – Thanks for your comment. Sounds like the Forte Resort in Sardinia’s strategy of association with Chef Ramsay may be having the desired effect of attracting more customers.
